this is a question about bbedit being able to open macperl cgi's--i hope this is relevant to this list. if not, please don't flame me! i'd like to take advantage of bbedit's numerous editing capabilities (esp. showing line numbers to make fixing bugs easier, and softwrapping text) but i can't get bbedit to open and display a perl script saved as a cgi. bbedit will open the file, but it displays a blank screen. as a workaround, i have to save the cgi each time as plain text, open that in bbedit, fix bug, then re-save as cgi. this can get old after a while. does anybody know of a better solution? am i not doing something right in bbedit? i'm running version 4.0--do i need the updated version perhaps? ----------------------- Timothy E.
