Here's my half a cent worth.... Anyone actually read the article on the Apple Website (Shutting Down NT...) and looked at the YDL page at the same time. Check out the e-mails/contacts. It appears (if you read the story on Apple's site) that this group/guy got a G3 and put Mklinux on it as an "easier-but-stable-and-secure" option to using Unix or NT. He was so excited that he got his story posted on Apple's site. Now it appears that he's so excited, he (his company) are going to start doing Linux Distributing, but for PPC...or G3...or both? (Chris has a good point here) My thoughts on obtaining it... Wait and see the product/reviews. "And by their fruits ye shall know them" I am currently shopping for a PPC machine to plop linux onto. I'm heavily leaning to LinuxPPC right now. But I'd probably beta-test (YDL) if they would give me a free copy =). I just don't even know if they are there yet. And Paul's point...What makes YDL $18 better than LinuxPPC. I'll have to see it!
