Right. Prevents them from being modified, or seen from the Finder. Probably, only the root MacPerl Ä would be made invisible, and every file would be locked to prevent accidental deletion. And a text file would be put in the MacPerl Ä saying "do not touch or delete anything!" This does not directly solve the problem of additional modules. Mac::Apps::Launch, for instance, is not part of the standard distribution.
