[MacPerl] command line interface?

I downloaded a per script,qm, that downloads historical stock quotes from the 
web.
The script was designed for the command line interface of the windows and Unix 
environment. The script is run like this: qm startdate endate.
If there is no  arguments startdate enddate the default is one day.
The script runs in macperl but I cannot give it the arguments.
How do I do  that in macperl?
