The best way I know to get at the Temporary Items folder is to use the button in the BBEdit toolbar which reveals the currently-being-edited document in the finder. It does appear to be MacPerl which is creating those files, because I see them using BBEdit and brad's plug-ins. Duplicates will crop up when you try to edit a file named foo and there's already a file named foo inside Temporary Items. If MacPerl and your editing application get out of sync, which can happen when one crashes or gets confused, those in-between files in the TI folder can accumulate, but as you notice, when you restart they will be moved to the trash. -nat ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
