I have some Perl scripts that I use to process swim meet files. I've developed these on the DR2 of Mac OS X Server and want to run them under MacOS 8.5. Do I need to make droplets of them? I most often us I/O redirection to handle the conversion I need but that doesn't seem to work since there's no command line. I guess I'm in a little bit of culture shock here. I'd appreciate any suggestions on the philosophy of moving filter-type applications from UNIX Perl to MacPerl. Is there a way I should think about developing scripts which can work in both environments with no change?
