I'm pretty sure that Graham Barr stressed the importance of Config.pm, but I'll check and submit a documentation patch if not. I *know* I stressed the importance of setting up Config.pm properly in my MacPerl ports of libnet, but they're no longer necessary. You *must* run the Configure script that comes with libnet, or do the equivalent, before using libnet. In the case of MacPerl, the equivalent includes simply using the Config.pm that comes with MacPerl, which asks InternetConfig for the right settings. ------- Paul J.
