What Paul is saying is that your error might be related to not being able
to connect.  So keep retrying.  This problem is not unique to MacPerl, but
to all platforms using CPAN.pm.  And if you are behind a firewall, you will
have even more grief.  If the error message seems to come up while trying
to fetch something, and you don't seem to be able to fetch it, then just
keep trying a little while, that's all.
