I don't think that the availability of the source is relevant.  Any
software can be stolen, and stolen quite easily, except for those requiring
hardware keys.  The honor system is the only way to get things to work.

You could try to build some key that has to be entered that matched your
algorithm, but someone will crack it.  As soon as one key is out, your
protection is broken.

If you want to sell it, just say, Please Send Me Money.  You Can Use Kagi
If You Want.  So few people pay for shareware, and software is pirated so
much, I don't think that you would lose any money just because the source
is available.
