[MacPerl] looking at Mac OS X

Just a couple of reality notes:

It's not clear how much of a Unix "personality" MacOS X will have right out of
the box.

Although the kernel will be Mach it isn't a sure bet of how much Unix-like
functionality will be there.  What I've been hearing is an optional BSD/Posix
layer (not a certified Posix layer since Apple says they don't want to go
through the expensive testing for certification).

Mac OS X Server, on the other hand, will be a full environment.
