And he helped develop a special translator called pod2ora which converts pod to the format that O'Reilly uses for its printing. It was also really nice when reviewing the cookbook, as they could distribute the documents in pod and HTML (running it through pod2html), which everyone can read. Better than other documents I got from O'Reilly recently which were in -- gack -- Word 97 format. I wrote a CGI at work that accepts file uploads of Word 97 documents and runs them through the Unix program mswordview and redirects the browser to the finished product. Not perfect output, but better than bowing to the God of Redomond. :) -- Chris Nandor mailto:pudge@pobox.com http://pudge.net/ %PGPKey = ('B76E72AD', [1024, '0824090B CE73CA10 1FF77F13 8180B6B6']) ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
