>Anyone have any tips or suggestions on scripting photoshop? Photoshop is not scriptable out-of-box, largely because Adobe doesn't want to add a feature to the Mac version which they can't duplicate in the WinBlows version (WHAT ARE THEY THINKING). There is a third party plug-in that gives Photoshop scriptability, but this is an inelegant solution IMHO. >I need to produce a few hundred gifs for headlines for a web site. I suggest clip2gif, which does this in a much more compact package, and *IS* scriptable. A few hundred gifs would be little problem here. > Can I pass photoshop all the text, font, image size etc. and have it spit > out all my headers for me? Directly, no. See my above. There should be some advice available on scripting clip2gif, and I have some code laying about if not. --Brian (Having to make do WITHOUT Photoshop) # Fungal Parataxonomy Mycology Information (Mycoinfo) # Webmaster, Staff Writer **The World's First Mycology E-Journal** # <mailto:webmaster@mycoinfo.com> <http://www.mycoinfo.com/> # "A couple of guys trying to do something great..." ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
