Mac Finder question Re: [MacPerl] A general question

Andrew,
A number of versions of the Mac Finder (certainly including v7.x) allow
one to sort the icons alphabetically --
1 Do a View/sort-by-name (so a by-name sort is the last sort that's been
performed on the folder).
2. Go to the View/by-Icon view of the folder (or View/by-Small-Icon).
3. Hold down Option key and so Special/Clean-Up-By-Name (replaces
clean-up-window).
(cc'ed the list to minimize replies.)
