ATTN: (especially) Chris Nandor & Matthias Neeacher, SUMMARY: The MacPPC object module StandardFile is not installed if the Custom Install/Fat Binary + /Shared Libraries options are used. WORKAROUND: Use <<Easy Install>>. DISCUSSION: I've been getting <<loadable module StandardFile not found in @INC>> (paraphrased) errors in (previously working) MacPerl scripts which <<use Mac::StandardFile>>, with both Mac Perl 520r4 and Mac Perl 519r4 on a PPC. I've finally tracked it down to an installation problem: The ...:MacPerl Ÿ:lib:MacPPC:auto:Mac:StandardFile:StandardFile object module is *NOT* installed when Custom Install/Fat Binary & /Shared Libraries installation options are selected. ((I suspect that it is the Fat Binary option, but I haven't tested that hypothesis.)) The module ...:MacPerl Ÿ:lib:MacPPC:auto:Mac:StandardFile:StandardFile *was* installed when I performed an <<Easy Install> -- and the scripts didn't report bugs anymore. :-) (phew!) -- Larry Chris, Thanks for the tip to helping finally track this down in your message, below: >X-Sender: pudge@pop.ply.adelphia.net >Message-Id: <v04020a03b2599d2f9d6a@[192.168.0.77]> >In-Reply-To: <E0zXG4O-0007IN-00@relay02.equinox.net> >Date: Sun, 25 Oct 1998 22:32:31 -0500 >To: "William H.
