Heh. Arved meant resemble. It's a yolk, son. :) It seems to be a
North American English idiom.

Hmm, must..get..thread..back..to..MacPerl. 

Well, below is something from waaay back in 1996 about Perl/tk
and MacPerl. I'm sorry I can't find anything more recent.
