Altho Zips are unspeakably lame, there isn't any reason why they would be treated differently from any other storage device by MacPerl assuming that the disk is mounted and visible in the Finder. If you can open the file(s) manually, then this is most likely just a pathname problem. If they won't open manually, just think "Iomega, because it *was* your stuff."
