Well, I was thinking about writting a patch editor for my synth. I wanted a little bit better front end then the synth's front panel. I would also like to use me program as a librarian. I don't really see anything in the MIDI.pm that will let me store, send and rcv that sort of information. My synth predates General MIDI also. > > You should be able to use MIDI.pm to read/compose MIDI files, and > Mac::Movies to play the results. > I'm not too interested in playing MIDI files. I have a Mac on my desk ( I also have an Intel Linux box - but it's not a Multimedia system ), that is what I'm going to use. > Unfortunately, I'm deeply involved in a complex project of my own at the > moment, and can't break away to write up an example. > That's OK. I just need a good starting point. I can figure it out from there. -Derrik firebug@apk.net http://come.to/thefire ------------------------------------------------------------ fear is the path to the darkside; fear leads to anger; anger leads to hate; hate leads to suffering - yoda ===== Want to unsubscribe from this list? ===== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-request@macperl.org
