Well, I did occasionally tell people to "FDISK, reformat and reinstall." Maybe I should have just left off the "reinstall" part. Actually, I wish I'd known of Linux back then. I used to have to punt calls about Samba (and to show you how clueless I was, I thought it was something Wall Data put out -- after all, they had products called Rhumba and One Step).
