[MacPerl] New to the game

I downloaded MacPerl not too long ago, not too entirely sure what it was, 
then I saw that it was a lot like other programming tools, just slightly 
different so for the most part it's easy to use for me, except for one thing, 
I can't figure out how to make a label, it could just be that I'm overlooking 
something but I would just love it if someone out there would be so kind as 
to just send out a quick line telling me how to make the label.
