Lasar - toll! (Thank you...) your page is excellent. Just what I needed.
You more or less confirm what I have discovered in the last week by
ignorantly blundering around in the dark :-) I had no idea what a host file
was, but I had unsuccessfully tried typing www.mymac.com into the various
TCP/IP boxes. Now I know!

Could someone explain what exactly happens when a perl script is saved as a
cgi, as opposed to a normal text file?
