[MacPerl] sorry extra info re installing

The Webstar FAQ's tell me....
When you open or create a Perl script in MacPerl, you should now have
the option to save it as a "CGI Script". Choose this option, and give
the file
name a suffix of .cgi or .acgi, and the saved file can then be called
from WebSTAR the same as any other CGI.
Well I only get a save as runtime version, or as plain text
where should this 'cgi script' option be coming from.
If I save it as runtime and then try to run it,
I get a file is empty message
thanks again
