This mail has been resent because it appears Majordomo never reflected it out to the list. Sorry if this is RTFM, but I've searched the mailing list archives and misc. FAQs to no avail... I'm assisting someone in adapting their perl script to run on a Mac. One reported issue is that the script does not run on some systems because LWP and URI are not available. Since these are included in the current "appl" distribution I had assumed this is user error. However, in toying with the installer it appears that it does not install these items if the user deliberately chooses to install a FAT binary. I presume a similar problem happens if the installer runs on a real 68K machine. Is this deliberate? Can I tell my guy that LWP isn't supported on 68K? If so, why isn't installed with the FAT binary (where presumably the PPC could run it)? Thanks for any pointers (to right FAQ or otherwise :-), Alex # ===== Want to unsubscribe from this list? # ===== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-request@macperl.org
