The CPAN module on CPAN works fine with MacPerl, but not everything 
in Bundle::CPAN does.  The cpan-mac README discusses Bundles, I 
think, and double-checking modules before installing them for 
potential conflicts (especially problems with XS code).  If you 
install Bundle::CPAN, it could break your Compress::Zlib, for 
instance.
