If Apache is configured to do that.  The instance which runs our 'personal'
web sites isn't (assuming the above source for the statement is correct).
Neither is (RedHat 6.1 updated to RH 6.2) on my laptop.  I haven't enabled
server side includes (nor did I disable them...that part of the Apache
configuration is out of the box).
