Robin, I forgot to warn you to be sure to compact the mailboxes before reading them or you might come across messages that had been previously sent to the trash but weren't actually removed from the mailbox file. You can compact a mailbox manually by command clicking on the mailbox size display. This actually rewrites the mailbox file leaving out removed messages. Option command clicking on a mailbox size display will compact all the mailboxes. This may take a while if you don't compact the mailboxes regularly. It can also catch other problems such as mailbox.toc files with no corresponding mailbox file.
