The attachments folder is special, in that the user can elect in the
settings dialog to use any folder at all for attachments.  So it wasn't so
much electing to expose the setting, but having to have the setting saved.
(Note the small numbers:  it's been both around and "important" for a long
time.)

[Although I think convincing Eudora to use the Desktop Folder of a volume
other than the startup volume at the moment the choice is made would
require scripting, or perhaps use of the settings URL scheme.]
