I can think of a few ways: 1) Create a RealBasic frontend that is scriptable, and use AppleScript from perl to talk to it. 2) Create a perl script that is scriptable, and use AppleScript from RealBasic to talk to it. 3) Use AppleScript to send perl scripts from RealBasic to MacPerl. ("inline" perl, as it were).
