David, I'll second Paul's recommendation for the updates. 6.0 had a 
couple of *really* irritating (to me at least) glitches that were 
addressed in the .0.1 update and .0.2 has an equally impressive list 
of fixes, though none that bit me directly.

The folder organization (everything Perl is in the "MacPerl Support" 
folder inside the "BBEdit Support" folder) streamlines the directory 
structure a good deal.
