Ack!  They look very close on my display.  Sorry, John.  *Light dawns*  Now 
I see what you meant.  That's pretty good, in that divining the behavior 
requires you to look what might be a long way away; but it's still 
determined at compile time.  You can't change the prototype of a subroutine 
at run-time (well, I can't; I just tried).
