Hmm.  I think of "thang" as being a quality of something, as in

	"You have got that bell-bottom thang down!"

A quality, or a skill.  I have never been very comfortable using the word,
which I attribute primarily to my not being from Nebraska.

Is there anyone on the list from Nebraska?
