Noted, thanks.

No, Storable is included with cpan-mac. You may have to make sure your
site_perl is before your lib in your prefs and reinstall cpan-mac, because
it may not have been AutoSplit properly. Someone else reported a similar
problem, I think. Though if you used Stuffit Expander to unpack it as you
mentioned below, then your problem may be that the macbinary files were
never unpacked. See below.

I don't follow. installme does not convert newlines, untarzip me does.
installme will convert them on unpacking if you do it that way, but not on
an already-unpacked folder.

However, installme WILL have problems if there are any macbinary (.bin)
files in the distribution, because Stuffit Expander will not have unpacked
those already for you, so you will need to de-macbinarize each of those
yourself.

That you should set in your MacPerl's resource fork. I don't want that
kind of code to be in Mac::Glue. If anything, what I might consider doing
is using the Internet Config prefs, though. So if you have a mapping for
.pm files, it will use that. The default would be whatever your GUSI
(where S is capital sigma) resource 10240 is set to, as it is now. I do
think that this should be in the Preferences for MacPerl, though, or that
MacPerl simply use the editor's creator with type TEXT. So if BBEdit is my
editor, then created files would be R*ch/TEXT. But that is a MacPerl app
issue, it doesn't IMO belong in Mac::Glue.

Thanks much. I will try to get a new cpan-mac and Mac::Glue out later this
month, or at least before TPC 3.0.
