Sounds OK to me.  Chris, is there anything in that list above that 1) 
isn't XS, and 2) isn't needed by cpan-mac?  The only ones I can see 
offhand are MailTools and Net::Telnet.  I'm thinking that now that 
it's feasible for people to install things on their own direct from 
CPAN that pure Perl modules that aren't necessary for cpan-mac and 
have MacPerl patches included in the standard distribution should be 
removed from the MacPerl distribution.  If people want them, they can 
easily get them now.

But we should think about adding other XS modules that might be useful.
