I'm still online for a moment. It's 9:51AM, and I'm about to take my Mac
down. I won't be able to bring it up again under System 7.5.5 (just
getting it to boot this morning was an excercise!). When I get it
reassembled, I'll have to boot from the Mac OS 9 CD and do a clean install
Gonna ba a while.

I've had a chat with Jim Correia, and although he's booked solid with
things to do today, he's going to take a little time to fire off a couple
paragraphs on how Perl Filter's work. That probably won't reach me until
this evening. (Jim said to ping him if I don't get it by 9pm Eastern (6pm
Pacific, for me)).

Every cloud has a silver lining. My business partner is having mailserver
problems, and can't communicate with me, so the rest of my day job is
stalled for the day. This means that unless his mailserver comes back up
before I get my upgrade/repairs done, I'll have this afternoon/evening to
work on the article.

Still, if there's anyone out there with something ready to go, drop a line
to the list.
