I'd considered David's basic description of how to run a Perl Filter, but
the degree of overlap with Jim's comments, and the fact that this
information seems to be fully documented pointed against it (I know people
don't read the documentation (even when it's well-written, alas...)).
Conversely, Jim's comments concerning calling Perl Filters by way of
AppleScript/Apple Events, might impinge on Chris' forthcoming "Filter
Tricks" piece. (although I have no idea what he's going to write at this
point). It's a balance between being too basic, and too advanced, and I
admit the results will not be perfect. The article is not intended as a
substitute for either hands-on experience or a copy of the BBEdit or Perl
docos. :-)

Done.

Done.

Good call! Done!
