Here's some responses that have prev. been sent to the list: >From Paul Duda: In Internet Config add a new helper for "file" with Netscape as the application. >From Matthias: The basic idea is that the "file" helper should be set to the same program as the "http" helper; "file" is just a notation for WWW pages residing on your local disk instead of on the net. So, basically, you need to add a new helper to Internet Config. that will recognize something that looks like: file:// You do this by creating a new helper for 'file' that doesn't exist yet.
