Have you tried to rebuild your desktop? Even better, erase it with a
utility like File Buddy or Desktop Killer. It will force the Finder to
build a desktop file from scratch. It might fix the problem.

I have a problem with Shuck. Whenever I use the lookup command Shuck
crashes right away, forcing me to reboot (PowerMac 7500/100 with MacOS
7.5.5).
