On the other hand, since we already have this sort of thing in the Perl
community, you may just want to point yourself to your nearest friendly
CPAN (Comprehensive Perl Archive Network) archive:

http://www.perl.com/CPAN/CPAN.html. Or just get general info at
http://www.perl.com/CPAN/README.html . CPAN serves as the worldwide
distribution mechanism for things Perl, including scripts, source and
modules. Browse a bit, you'll be glad you did.
