[MacPerl] MacPerl debugger

I'm running MacPerl 5.1.3r, system 7.5.5 on both a Quadra 610 and a
Performa 5215.

I'm having problems with the debugger. It does not respond to the l (line),
or the b (break) commands.

I am new to the debugger so I tried  my script on the unix version and
everything works fine.

Any help would be appreciated. TIA
