[MacPerl] Questions from a newbie

I've been using MacPerl a couple of weeks and I'm delighted at how easy and
fun it is to use.  I have two unrelated questions I'd like to ask:

1.  Are there any MacPerl or Perl comilers out there?
2.  Is there a command that will allow me to output to the printer?  (Thus
far, the intro book I'm using makes no mention of output to a printer.)
