[MacPerl] Help in Instalation

I am having a lot of trouble in installing Perl, I need to install
Data::Dumper, and the Netlib module set, but in order to do that I guess
I need to install make, but perl is crashing, what exactly do I need to
do to install perl correctly, and to install these modules.
