Look in the perlipc man page, or under Inteprocess Communication in the
Blue Camel, or in the Inteprocess communication help file in MacPerl.

There is a TCP/IP server example that does not use fork.  It cannot accept
multiple connections, I believe, but it does the job if you don't need
multiple connections.
