In version 5.14, when you put the following line at the beginning a Perl script, #!/usr/local/bin/perl -T you get the following error message : # Too late for "-T" option. According to the Perl 5.14 online documentation, the -T switch should only be used in the command line. It should not be used anymore in the first line of your script. What is the difference between using -T in the command line and using it in the first line of the script? How do you switch tainting on in MacPerl? How do you make a MacPerl script, which uses -T run on Unix since you can't use -T in the first line anymore? Many thanks.
