I have posted to this list before and have received some help. I am very familiar with bourne shell, korn shell, and Tcl/Tk. I am becoming more and more familiar with perl. I have also had a bit of experience with C, but not with guis and not with Mac C. I have tried reading the Inside Macintosh books about appleevents, but don't see how this would be helpful unless one considers using the finder as the application that MacPerl is talking to and it is the finder that create the windows, buttons, etc. Could someone post a script that they have created that uses radio buttons or check buttons and anyother assorted windowing features. I might be able to figure it out from there, as long as I havce a starting point and an example to follow. Thanks. -- /\ /\ . /\____ _-_ / \ _/\ / \ /\ / \ /\ / \ / \ / \ /\/ \ / \_/\_/ Y \ /\/\/ \ u \/ \___/ \/ \ / \/ \ ----------------------------------v-------------------------------- Richard Christensen KC7JPQ Austin, TX richard@crl.com ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
