I've had some problems with Alpha 7.0 as well. After turning on debugging in the MacPerl menu, it will run the program in debug mode once. Subsequent runs will not be in debug mode. Weirder, if you go try to turn debug off and back on again, you have to turn it off twice before the bullet disappears. Then you can turn it back on and again, it will debug once.
