Hi all, I while ago, found out (with some hints from Chris Nandor) that Droplets or runtime modules do not work without the MacPerl package, if they reference libraries or modules (with "use" or "require"). At least, I found it impossible to recursively paste in everything whats called during execution (if there IS a way, please tell me). The script I wrote is doing a task, that is usually performed only once by the user (conversion of Eudora Mailboxes and Nicknames to Netscape Communicator). So it works only on the local disk, does not need network, http etc., and uses Mac'Resources. So I guess, I will have to put together a folder, that includes also the MacPerl package. But, the files to be installed on the users disk, should be kept to a minimum. >From reading the Artistic license, I am not sure, if I have understood the authors words correctly. Question: Am I allowed to redistribute the MacPerl package, reduced to only the files, that are necessary to run the script (for sure including licence statements, readme etc.)? If yes, I think I will need: MacPerl application lib: (with the exceptions below) I guess I can leave out: ext: Icon Installer Log File lib:auto: lib:ExtUtils: lib:Font: lib:HTML lib: HTTP lib: LWP lib: Math lib: MIME lib: Net lib: POD lib: URI MacPerl CGI: macscripts: pod: Shuck Shuck Manual t: Well, if some are left, that are not necessary, I dont care. But I dont want to be guilty for heart attacks of users that get the message "8xx files to be installed".
