I've been discussing with Alan Fry the use of Dialogs from within MacPerl and we've run up against some problems. I'll list them here in case they're solvable. Or, if they're not currently solvable, that would be useful information as well. 1) How can you make the cursor blink in an edit field? I've asked this before recently, but I don't recall seeing an answer. My conjecture is that you must call TEIdle() during the event loop, but I don't find a way to do that. 2) If you create a dialog with MacDialog, display it, then hit command-period to terminate the script, the dialog box remains on screen. Is there a way within a script to receive a notification that you've been aborted, so that some cleanup can be done? -- Paul DuBois paul@snake.net Home Page: http://www.primate.wisc.edu/people/dubois Software: http://www.primate.wisc.edu/software ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
