I checked Amazon.com for books on Applescript. Alas, the highly recommended and highly rated Goodman book is out of print. The 4 books Amazon.com can get their hands on are Applescript Applications: Building Applications with Facespan and Applescript by John Schettino, et al Applescript Finder Guide from Apple Applescript Scripting Additions from Apple Applescript for Dummies by Tom Trinko The Schettino book has been noted on the list as good but oriented to Facespan. Does anyone have any opinions to offer on the other three? The idea of the Dummies book appeals because while I'm decent at Unix scripting languages, my glimpses of Applescript have looked completely foreign. Does that book really start simple enough and does it go far enough to make it useful? Are the Apple books any good other than as a reference? TIA...
