>>Also, what would you say are the best books to learn MacPerl and >>Applescript from? As fellow aspiring MacPerl newbie I vote for "MacPerl: Power and Ease." As for starting with AppleScript, Danny Goodman's AppleScript Handbook is the best book I know of. I have the 2nd edition which is rather old now but I still think it is still a good place to begin. There is another book, "AppleScript Applications - Building Applications with FaceSpan and AppleScript" by John Schettino and Liz O'Hara which is often recommended. I haven't had time to read it right through so I am not sure how appropriate it would be. It is really intended for use along with the FaceSpan application as far as I can see. It was written for FaceSpan v2 which has been superceded by version 3.0 now. Sue ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
