The message we get if we try and execute from either the cgi-bin directory or the place we want it is: (ignore the pseudo-HTML tags - they identify size but aren't part of the error) <Big & Bold>Server Error</Big & Bold> This server has encountered an internal error which prevents it from fulfilling your request. The most likely cause is a misconfiguration. Please ask the administrator to look for messages in the servers error log. I REALLY doubt this has anything to do with Perl specificly -- "Server" to me implies the error is a Unix error. OTOH, there are other CGI scripts on the machine which run just fine and we've made the #! line the same. My boss is trying to contact the SysAdmin for this particular box to find out what might be going on. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Dennis Little mailto://dennis.j.little@lmco.com Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space mailto://metnet@worldnet.att.net Sunnyvale, CA Web: http://www.lmms.lmco.com/ Phone: 408/756-2170 LMMS: O/EA52 B/076 C/3E8 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
