Hello I am new to the list but I know this probably hasn't been covered since I have been searching for this for 2 weeks now. (archive's too) I am trying to create a website that allows MAC people to upload their files into their account via a web based http upload (or other Web based "no download required" system". However I am having problems with the Mac resource/data forks as you may suspect. Question: Is there a way to keep the files from getting split up/garbled upon the upload. Perhaps MacPerl or Java? Please don't email me saying "Just have them compress it first" because that is the entire thing we want to avoid. So is there a way to make a web based FTP that compresses (handles files correctly if compress is the wrong word) on the fly like Fetch. Has this been done somewhere that I could take a look? For those of you using Hotmail, I think they have a solution. Could you tell me how their attachments work on a Mac.
